THE SHORT STORY:
Queens women's tennis took the court for its second match of the spring season on Saturday afternoon, falling 7-0 on the road at Davidson. The Royals competed in both doubles and singles, gaining another valuable test early in their non-conference schedule.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Davidson secured the doubles point with wins on all three courts.
Zoe Cvitanovic and
Mathilde Bris fell 6-0 at No. 1, while the Royals' No. 2 and No. 3 pairs dropped 6-1 and 6-0 decisions, respectively.
- In singles play,
Mathilde Bris opened strong at the top position, taking three games in the first set before a 6-3, 6-0 final.

Jett Coetzee showed positive signs in her debut, picking up five total games at No. 6 in a 6-2, 6-3 match.
- Davidson won all six singles matches in straight sets to complete the team victory.
