SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Queens University of Charlotte women's soccer (0-3-2) suffered a heartbreaking 1-0 defeat at USC-Upstate on Sunday evening, conceding the game-winner in the 88th minute at County University Soccer Stadium.

The Royals weathered heavy pressure throughout the match, with freshman goalkeeper Hannah Dike-Lawlor making eight saves to keep the match level deep into the second half. Queens nearly found the breakthrough themselves with a flurry of chances in the final 10 minutes, but USC-Upstate capitalized late netting the decisive goal in the 88^th minute.
