WORDS FROM DIRECTOR OF GOLF BLAKE CHILDERS
"A freshman comes in and is the first in our program's history to win a tournament since transitioning to Division I. Jillian is so impressive with how she handles herself. It's truly amazing to see how much she's developed in only her first year with her game, especially mentally. Now that she knows she can execute under pressure and win at this level, she's only going to get better. It's just so awesome to see her hard work pay off. This is one of many for her I'm sure.

I'm just so proud of her, and I'm especially proud of this team of ladies. They do all of the little things right day in and day out, so it's no surprise that the big things are taking care of themselves. They are continuing to improve and compete and build off our success from the fall with a fourth-place finish. This is a special group. You can just feel it. Excited to continue this momentum heading into Howard's event next week!"

UP NEXT
Queens will compete in the Lady Bison Invitational on March 3-4.
