88' – QUEENS – Tamia Ford (Assist: Helena Merkle)

Turning Point
Queens seized control late in the first half when senior Sejla Podzic opened the scoring in the 36th minute off a corner kick from freshman Shion Hwang. In the closing minutes, freshman Helena Merkle doubled the lead with her third goal of the season before assisting Tamia Ford less than a minute later, sealing Queens second ASUN win of the season.

From Coach Neely Noel
"It is wonderful to pick up three big points right at the midway point of conference play, even more so to do so while celebrating our senior class," said head coach Neely Noel. "We had three individuals add to their goal tally today and Hannah Dike-Lawlor earned another full shutout. These are important things as we progress to our next matches and push to build on this momentum."
