NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Queens (3-11-5, 2-6-2 ASUN) saw its 2025 season come to a close on Thursday afternoon, falling 2-0 to top-seeded Lipscomb (12-5-2, 7-2-1 ASUN) in the ASUN Quarterfinals at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex. The Royals put together a disciplined defensive first half, Lipscomb scoreless through the opening 45 minutes before the Bisons broke through early in the second half.
Turning Point
After a tightly contested first half in which Queens limited Lipscomb's clear chances, the Bisons found the opener in the 50th minute when Skylar Cole finished a cross from Bella Carapazza. The Royals continued to push forward, generating multiple quality looks, including shots on goal from
McKayla Budion,
Tamia Ford, and
Sejla Podzic, but Lipscomb sealed the win with a second goal in the 76th minute.
