FORT MYERS, Fla. – Queens University of Charlotte (3-9-4, 2-5-1 ASUN) came up short on the road Sunday afternoon, falling 2-0 to Florida Gulf Coast (5-5-1, 2-2-0 ASUN) at Pickering Field. Despite a strong defensive effort and several quality saves from freshman goalkeeper Hannah Dike-Lawlor, the Royals couldn't overcome a pair of first-half goals from the Eagles.

Turning Point
FGCU struck twice in the opening 30 minutes, capitalizing on two well-placed finishes to take control early. Queens settled into a rhythm in the second half, finding more possession and outshooting the Eagles 5–3 after halftime, but were unable to convert their chances to pull closer.
