CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Following the Collegiate Women's DI National Championship, where the Royals took third place and Queens Director of Triathlon Sonni Dyer was named Coach of the Year, four triathletes have been named CTCA All-Americans.
CTCA First Team All-Americans finished 1-7 at the championship event while second team honorees finished 8-14. Those who finished 15-21 were placed on the honorable mention team.
Beth Cook was named to the first team for the second time while Livia Wespe earned second-team recognition. Weronika Ptaszynska and Cara MacDonald were named to the honorable mention team.
WORDS FROM SONNI DYER
"Once again, the Queens women have demonstrated our capacity to compete among the best DI student-triathletes in the country by having four of our five national championship scorers earn All-American honors. This marks the second consecutive year that Beth Cook has earned All-American First Team recognition. After a disappointing national in 2023, Livia Wespe had a great day to earn second-team honors. I couldn't be prouder of captains Weronika Ptaszynska and Cara MacDonald for earning Honorable Mention All-American."
