Women's Soccer Suffers Tough Loss at Florida Gulf Coast

FORT MYERS, FLA. – The Queens women's soccer team (5-6-2, 1-2-2 ASUN) started its four game road portion of its Atlantic Sun Conference schedule with a loss at Florida Gulf Coast (5-5-1, 3-1 ASUN) on Friday morning.

TURNING POINT 
The Royals trailed 3-0 at the intermission and saw Florida Gulf Coast pull ahead 4-0 in the opening minutes of the second half. The offensive attack for Queens never really found many chances, only putting up five shots in the match.  
 
KEY STATS & NOTES 

  • In her 13th start in goal this season, junior Kelsey Jargstorf recorded 8 saves. Jargstorf has now recorded five or more saves in eight matches this season. 

  • FGCU held a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks.
