CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte women's soccer team (2-4-3, 0-1-2 ASUN) finish with a 0-0 draw against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels (2-6-2, 1-1-1 ASUN) on Thursday nighe. In the first matchup of the teams in program history, the Royals were able to stop yet another ASUN competitor from hitting the back of the net giving the team back-to-back clean sheets this week.
Turning Point
In the 56th minute EKU attacked the goal with a shot toward the bottom of the net that looked very promising for the Colonels. The shot drew goalkeeper
Erica Turner out of the net and one on one with EKU's Jami Anderson who managed to get it by Turner. Fortunately,
Grace Sain was lined up in the net and was able to get a huge team save to keep the match scoreless.
