Cecere and Bottino Record Victories in Regular Season Finale at Stetson

THE SHORT STORY: The Queens University of Charlotte men's tennis team dropped their regular season finale at Stetson University on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Hatters captured the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3. Edoardo Bottino and Laurenz Blickwede were tied 4-4 before going unfinished.
-On the top court, Edoardo Bottino picked up the Royals first victory of the day with a 7-5, 7-5 route. The senior improved to 8-6 on the season.
-Senior Edoardo Cecere won a battle at No. 2 after dropping the first set. Cecere would capture the second set 6-2 and the third set 7-6 to give the Royals their second win of the day.

NEXT UP
Queens will turn their attention to the 2023 ASUN Tournament Championship which begins Thursday, April 13th at the higher seed. The seeding will be finalized after all league matches are completed on Saturday, April 8th.
