Queens Announces Partnership with HomeTown Ticketing

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  With the Royals' first official NCAA Division I season approaching, Queens University of Charlotte announces its partnership with HomeTown Ticketing.

"We are excited to partner with HomeTown Ticketing for our digital ticketing platform this year," said Queens Director of Athletics Cherie Swarthout." Moving to a cashless system will create a seamless process at the gate improving the pace at which we can get fans into our games. This will only improve the fan experience moving forward at Queens Athletics events as we embark upon our first season as the only private NCAA Division I institution in the city of Charlotte."

HomeTown Ticketing, the leading digital ticketing company for K-12 schools and colleges, helps thousands of schools across the country seamlessly transition from cash and paper to digital ticketing. Their professional-level, digital ticketing platform is purpose-built for institutions to easily sell tickets, quickly scan attendees, and access revenue faster than any other provider, without ever touching institution funds. Additionally, HomeTown Ticketing is the official partner of nearly 60 athletic conferences across the nation.

For the 2022-23 season, Queens will charge admission for basketball, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, and volleyball. Fans can begin purchasing single-game tickets or season ticket packages for the men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball seasons today by visiting www.queensathletics.com/tickets.

Once tickets are purchased, fans are encouraged to download the HomeTown Fan app to access their mobile tickets prior to attending athletic events.

Additionally, Queens faculty, staff, and students should expect internal communication about how to obtain their complimentary season passes for the 2022-23 athletic season.

Queens will play its first NCAA DI game on Thursday, August 18 at home when the women's soccer team welcomes UNC Wilmington to the Queens Sports Complex located on Tyvola Road. The match is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. Additional information on pregame fan activities with JJs Red Hots in attendance will be released at a later date.

"I am challenging the Queens and Charlotte community to purchase their tickets now in order to ensure that they have a seat at our season opener on August 18," Swarthout added. "They can all be the first to see this monumental moment in history for our University."

Additional information for basketball, lacrosse, and rugby season tickets will be released at a later date.

Queens officially began its transition to Division I as a member of the ASUN Conference on July 1, 2022.
