CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte women's soccer team (13-3-1, 9-1-1) has been seeded second in the 2021 South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship and will face seventh-seeded Lincoln Memorial University (7-6-2, 5-5-1) in the quarterfinals on Saturday, Nov. 6.

Tomorrow's match will be the 10
th meeting the Royals and the Railsplitters. LMU leads the series 4-3-2, despite this season's record with Queens sitting at 1-0.

Queens enters the match coming off of a 1-0 win against Tusculum University on Wednesday, Nov. 3 while LMU enters the match coming off a 1-0 loss to Limestone.

Queens is led by
Mia Manuel who has 12 points this season on six goals.
Alyssa Edwards follows with 10 points on four goals and two assists. The two have a combined total of six game winners, with Edwards leading the Royals and the conference with four. Additionally, goalkeeper
Erica Turner is tied for first in nation in shutouts this season with 11 while the Royals are tied for second in the nation with a .706 shutout percentage.

Rachel Taylor leads the Railsplitters this season with 24 points on nine goals and six assists while Jessica Cravero has 18 points on eight goals and two assists. Taylor is ranked fourth in the league in goals.

Tomorrow's quarterfinal match will take place on Dickson Field at the Queens Sports Complex. The match is set to begin at 5 p.m. and the winner will advance to the semifinals which will be held at a neutral site in Matthews, N.C.
