Mission
Updated Timeline 8-24-2020
The history of Queens Athletics is extremely important. As we continue to quickly progress as an athletic department, we must also remember where we came from. It was just 1988 that we played our first coeducational sports at Queens. We entered our 30th season of coeducational collegiate athletics after finishing fifth in the 2016-17 NCAA Division II Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup Standings, the highest finish in program history at the time. We have since finished in the Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup top 10 four consecutive years with our highest finish coming at the close of the 2018-19 season when the Royals took fourth place. Queens totals 32 varsity sports at this time with the addition of dance in 2019-20. As we move forward we look to continue to build on the excellent athletic history Queens has already provided in its short history. Below is a link to Queens Athletics timeline of events that have led us to the dominating position we are in today!
