Bristol, Tenn. - The Queens University of Charlotte men's wrestling team (3-1; 1-0) defeated King University (1-4; 0-1) Thursday winning by a final score of 30-15. The Royals' dominant performance in the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas opener places them at the top of the conference standings.

Hunter Tobiasson (197) were victors in the winning effort.
After dropping the opening round, the Royals rattled off seven wins out of the next eight matches to gain a comfortable lead. Late-match heroics came from Haliburton, Watkins, and Tobiasson who each won by fall.
Queens is back on the road for another conference matchup at Belmont-Abbey on January 15th at 7 p.m.
