Box Score WINGATE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte women's soccer team traveled to take on No. 16 Wingate University in a South Atlantic Conference match, falling 1-0 to the Bulldogs in overtime. The loss brings the Royals' record to 3-4-1 on the year and 1-1-1 in league play, while Wingate remains undefeated at 6-0 on the year and 3-0 in the SAC.

Tori Danchak were key in keeping the Bulldogs off the scoreboard during regulation in this evening's game despite facing 14 total shots, seven being on goal. Danchak had recorded six saves on the night before the Bulldogs were able to find the game-winner in the 93
rd minute of action, giving Queens its first conference loss of the season.
Wingate's Gabby Caliendo scored tonight's golden goal, beating Queens' keeper in the corner of the net after receiving a cross from Kaitlyn Fletcher.
The Royals completed the game with three shots, two coming from freshman forward
Charlotte Ring and one coming from junior midfielder
Caitlyn Rodrigues. Each notched a shot on goal as well.
Goalkeeper Alexis Jones of Wingate finished the game with two saves.
The Royals are back in action at Carson-Newman College on Saturday at 5 p.m.
