Royals Play Railsplitters to 0-0 Draw

Box Score  HARROGATE, Tenn. – After two overtime periods, today's South Atlantic Conference women's soccer match ended in a 0-0 tie between Queens University of Charlotte (3-3-1, 1-0-1) and Lincoln Memorial University (2-1-2, 1-0-1).
 
Today's game saw a combined total of 48 shots from the Royals and Railsplitters with Queens notching 27 shots. Ten of the Royals' shots were on frame, but unfortunately none would find the back of the net in the 110 minutes of play. Junior defender Ashley Osiecki tallied eight shots, three on goal, while freshman forward Charlotte Ring recorded five, putting three on goal.
 
Playing the entire 110 minutes in goal was senior Tori Danchak who finished the game with 10 saves. Kathryn Lundy of LMU registered seven saves on the day.
 
Queens will be back on the road on Wednesday night against Wingate University. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m., and the game will be featured on ESPN3.
