SAVANNAH, Ga. - Heavy rains in the Coastal Empire area on Friday have forced the postponement of the first day action in the 2009 AASU Pirate Soccer Shootout to Saturday. Queens University of Charlotte was set to face Georgia College and State University at 3pm.

GCSU and Queens will now kick off their 2009 seasons on Saturday, August 29, at 11:00 a.m. at AT&T Field. The host AASU Pirates will then take on Florida Southern at 1:30 p.m. in the second match of action.

Sunday's schedule in the Shootout remains unaltered. AASU and Queens (N.C.) will play at 11:00 a.m., with GCSU and Florida Southern wrapping up the Shootout at 1:30 p.m.
