Lees McRae Defeats Queens

The Royals are back in action tomorrow night at St. Andrews.

BANNER ELK, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte fell to Lees McRae College in three games on Tuesday night in Banner Elk, N.C. ,25-15, 25-21, 25-20.  The Royals fought hard in the second and third games keeping the score close.  The loss gives the Royals a record of 3-17 overall and 3-8 in conference play.

Brittany Harvey (Matthews, N.C., Sun Valley ) led the Royals attack with five kills.  Tanisha Lea (Efland, N.C., Orange Senior ) had four block assist, and Tamalea Pierce (Asheboro, N.C., SW Randolph ) had 15 digs for the Royals defense.

Whitney Kiser had 14 kills on 24 attempts and compiled a .542 hitting percentage to lead the Lees-McRae College Lady Bobcats

The Royals travel to St. Andrews Wednesday, October 8th for their next match.
