Kyle House is the first men’s swimmer to be inducted into the Queens Athletics Hall of Fame. The Lawrenceburg, Indiana native was one of the program’s first commits coming to the Royals from Purdue.

House was part of two Royals squads that made NCAA Championship appearances, leading Queens to its first top-10 finish at the Championships as they took ninth place in 2013. The Royals also recorded a GPA that ranked top 10 among men’s swimming programs nationally in 2013. Additionally, House led the program to two second-place finishes at the Bluegrass Mountain Championships. In total, House recorded 11 all-conference swims and a total of nine All-American swims. He also totaled one individual conference championship and five relay conference championships. House was part of the first relay teams to earn the All-American honor in Queens swimming history (200 medley relay, 200 free relay).

Following his career, House’s 50-butterfly time was a school record until it was broken in 2017.

Academically, House was a two-time CSCAA Scholar All-American and in 2013 he was named to the Capital One Academic All-America Team. The team captain graduated from Queens with a degree in business administration. Following his time spent at Queens, House made the leap out west to Tempe, Ariz., to complete his MBA at Arizona State University. He earned an internship at Johnson & Johnson (J&J) during his first year before being hired full-time with the company. During the COVID-19 pandemic, House worked alongside fellow healthcare professionals serving as the Procurement Leadership Development Program manager for J&J.

House currently resides in Philadelphia with his dog, Charlotte, and his girlfriend, Erin. He recently began a new role as associate director of vendor and capacity management for the Office of Consumer Safety with J&J’s New Consumer Health Company.
