Iain Hall, a 2008 graduate, is one of Queens’ most decorated men’s golfers. The Naas, Ireland native was named to the all-conference honorable mention team following his sophomore season before having a breakout year during his junior season. Snagging a sixth place finish in the conference tournament with a 217 (75-71-71), Hall was named to the all-tournament team. He then advanced to the NCAA tournament as an individual, finishing tied for third overall with a 292 (72-75-74-71). Hall won the NCAA DII Atlantic Region Men’s Golf Regional to advance to the NCAA Championship. His appearance at the tournament was the first in school history for any Queens golfer.
Following his final season at Queens, Hall was named to the CVAC All-Conference First-Team and the CVAC All-Tournament Team after finishing in sixth with a score of 217 (72-74-71) at the conference tournament.
Hall continued his golf career after graduating from Queens at the professional level until the fall of 2012. After hanging up his spikes, he and fellow alum Hilary (Armel) Hall married in March of 2013. They have since returned to Dublin, where he works at LGT Fund Managers and is pursuing an accountancy qualification.
