Joshua Bloch will come to Queens in the fall

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Head Tennis Coach Brett Karpman has announced that Joshua Bloch has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Royals men’s tennis squad as a member of the class of 2013.

Bloch hails from Johannesburg, South Africa, and will be coming to Queens from King David High School Linksfield.  Bloch’s athletic accolades include being ranked top five nationally in both singles and doubles in the 17 and under bracket.  Bloch was also the runner up in the South African Tennis Nationals men’s singles  for under 16.

“Josh comes from a fantastic family and fits the mold of players I look to bring into the program,” said Karpman. “He is a proven finisher on the court and I am eager to aid in his development on the court and in the gym."
